Aurora

Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 1995, at Stavanger) is the name of a Norwegian artist and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well welcomed by blogs about music. She's recorded a variety of well-known cover songs, including Half the World Away (by Oasis) for the Christmas advert. Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) and have been widely praised. Katy Perry, who endorsed the tune Runaway with her voice, has given it some more recognition. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories are of discovering an instrument hidden in her attic, and becoming fascinated with the sounds it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged her to learn music, not for a job or a hobby and as a way to improve. She began writing lyrics of her own. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her favorite writers. Her mother had told her the songs she wrote might not gain fame for her however, but to encourage people to see their own value and impact in the world, she began playing them on stage. She began playing the piano when she was six years old and started making music when she was 9 years old. The family did not know until the age of fourteen. Aurora never dreamed of being famous. She claims that she simply loves writing music. According to her music, is the best method of expressing anything.
